FAQ
Hunter KOM is a platform designed to help cyclists hunt for King of the Mountain (KOM) segments. It provides tools to discover, analyze, and track your performance on various cycling segments.
You can connect your Strava account by clicking the 'Sign in with Strava' button on our homepage. This will allow us to access your cycling activities and provide personalized segment recommendations.
We only collect publicly available data from your Strava activities, including segment times, routes, and basic activity information. We never access private activities or personal information beyond what's necessary for the service.
Use our segment finder tool to discover segments in your area or along your favorite routes. You can sort segments by multiple criteria including Forecast (our intelligent difficulty prediction), Distance, Elevation gain, Average Grade, and KOM Time. The default sorting by 'Forecast' helps you find segments where you have the best chance of achieving a good time based on your historical performance data.
Hunter KOM is free to use while the app is in beta. After the beta period, it will transition to a subscription model with simple, affordable pricing.
Currently, Hunter KOM primarily integrates with Strava. We're exploring integration with other platforms like Garmin Connect and may add support for additional services in the future.
Segment data is updated regularly as new activities are recorded.

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. You can revoke access to your Strava data at any time through your Strava settings, which will stop new data collection. To request complete removal of your existing data from our systems, please contact us at support@hunter-kom.com. We comply with GDPR and other data protection regulations, ensuring your right to erasure is respected.
